The Portland Trail Blazers beat the Boston Celtics 94-88 to extend their league-high winning streak to seven games.
The Celtics held the Blazers to just 35 percent shooting in the first half, and entered the third quarter up 49-44. Portland turned it on in the second half though, scoring 50 points and holding off a furious Boston rally to end the game.
LaMarcus Aldridge was the high scorer on the Blazers' side with 20 points on 7-of-21 shooting. Boston got big contributions from Jared Sullinger and Jeff Green, both of whom racked up 19 points in the loss.
At 10-3, Portland is now within striking distance of the Western Conference's top seed. Conversely, the Celtics have missed out on a chance to inch closer to the Orlando Magic for the Eastern Conference's eighth seed.
The Celtics will next be in action against the Chicago Bulls on Friday, Nov. 28. The Blazers will finish off a back-to-back against the Philadelphia 76ers tomorrow, Nov. 24.
