It's going to be a lot of fun to finally see the return of the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels really soon.
I've been watching wrestling since late 1989. I'm 22 years old and am a die-hard Shawn Michaels fan. He has helped my life in more ways than one through his wrestling, charisma, entertainment, and most of all, his faith.
After the greatest match in Wrestlemania history between HBK and The Undertaker, I figured time off was of the essence for Michaels.
To know that he will be with his family for a few months is all well and good. The Hickenbottom family deserves time alone just like any of us. The showstopper's body needed rest mentally and physically.
Also, the return of DX is one to look forward to, as usual. The tandem of HBK-HHH has always been a huge favorite of mine. The chemistry and the greatness is far and away more elite than other duos before or after them. They've set the standard for generations to come.
When I see on television that HBK is about to make a return, my love for pro wrestling pumps through my veins and makes its comeback.
Not to say that I don't love the product when Shawn isn't around—I do—but it's not the same without the HBK music, the in-ring pose, and the cheering tune of some sweet chin music.
The time has come. I'm a writer for numerous Philadelphia sports outlets, and I'm here to write monthly about HBK and his monthly reports. Wrestling is one of my true passions, and I'm here to bring all of it to you guys, the true fans of the WWE.
We are the WWE Universe! Now...
