Jarrick Williams, a highly recruited player out of Blount High School in Mobile, Alabama announced he will play college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

"I'm ready to go play and get up to Tuscaloosa right now," Williams said. "I love this team here, but I wish I could go ahead and get this year out of the way I'm so excited about playing for Alabama."

Williams, a four-star prospect by Rivals.com and Scout.com, chose Alabama over offers from LSU, Auburn, Florida, Oklahoma and others.

Williams projects as a safety on the collegiate level. Williams is ranked at No. 65 on the Rivals.com top 100 players.
