Alabama Football: Tide Defender Arrested

Alabama sophomore linebacker, Courtney Upshaw, was arrested early this morning according to published reports in the Birmingham News and the Tuscaloosa News.

According to jail records, Upshaw was arrested on a third-degree domestic violence/harassment charge.

Upshaw, one of sixteen true freshmen who played last season, led the Tide in 2008 in special teams tackles and was competing for the starting position at the Jack LB position this fall.
