Today the Juventus striker has announced his intent on leaving the club upon finishing the present season. After ten long and successful years at Juventus he will walk away from the club.

There were many rumors about the Frenchman moving to another team this summer, with Milan showing serious interest. However the rumors were put to rest when David came out and announced his loyalty to Juve.

It now appears that his departure will happen.

At a press conference David said, "These ten years at the club will come to an end in June, when, in agreement with my family, I have decided to return home."

David Trezeguet has been a rock for Juventus since joining from Monaco in 2000. Except for last season, when injury and the arrival of Amauri shortened David's season, he has scored more than ten times in six of his eight seasons in Serie A and B.

His impact at Juventus has been that of greatness. A natural born goal scorer. His commitment to the team could never be questioned.

If he does leave the club at the end of this year, it will be a sad day for the Juve faithful.
