All true Lakers fans perhaps would one day die from a heart attack! The Lakers can cause you to say things that you would not normally say, the Lakers are the only the only team that I know can blow a 30-point lead and win by two or three, while their fans die a little with every decrease in the point spread.

Magic Johnson is perhaps the single reason that fans like me are still strong Lakers fans. He made us believe we can be winners even when the chips were down and everything else seems hopeless. He always found a way for us to win regardless of the fact that our hearts were taking a category five hurricane beating and we always survived.

True Lakers fans are Public Enemy No. 1. Why? Because we are good and everyone knows it and we definitely flaunt it to the fullest...why? because it feels good!

Kobe Bryant, has grown a bit, he is definitely maturing and is coming into his very own on and off the court. He has his own logo and style, and he like Magic  will become the nucleus that will endear and attract more fans into our world where only true, true Lakers fans reside!

Kobe is bringing back that Showtime excitement, and with his supporting young cast, the Lakers will be around for a long time causing mischief and breaking people's hearts, even the those of their most dear and loyal fans. It's just the nature of the Lakers in their pursuit to entertain at the very  highest level imaginable.

Lakers fans are driven by the Hollywood style of the Lakers. Everything is Showtime. Even when we lose, it's Showtime. We believe that we can win at anytime and over any team. We believe this because we have the greatest players on the planet and led by the Zen Master himself, Phil Jackson.

Our fans are loyal, but at times very unforgiving, because we are the best. We demand the best from our organization, our team and our individual players.

When Kobe threatened to leave earlier this season, true Lakers fans were ready to say to him, "we are sorry that you are leaving, but we are going to miss you." We follow no one player even if he is the MVP and the greatest present player on the planet.

Lakers fans are driven by a passion to win and by a passion for loyalty. We are a family like none other. We are winners and we are proud of our rich and glorious history and our golden future.

Come Thursday night, we will die a little but when the smoke clears, thunder will roll from the Lakers throne, and we will send yet another angel home!

Boston, beware of the "Black Mamba and the Zen Master." Together they will destroy you! Lakers in six! Even with "Red", giving them a helping hand as he did in the Cleveland game, when he sank a free throw that Paul Pierce was going to miss.

  1. I agree with you about us Lakers fans demanding and expecting the best from the organization and its players, coaches and management. We are also as loyal as any fans in all of sports are, but finally we root for the best franchise in all of sports.

  2. Thanks for your comments. It is great to know that there are so many of us out there who root for the team that make things happen!
