Is Booker T's WWE Return Imminent and Where Will He Fit In?

According to, Booker T is ready to leave TNA after his contract is up in November. Booker has received a lot of heat over his tenure with TNA and is regarded as a cancer to the locker room.

This all came to a boiling point at the most recent Impact taping in Orlando when he refused to put over Matt Morgan. Booker has apparently made it clear that he has WWE options and intends to return. Rumors are swirling that with the most recent developments, Booker T and Steiner will drop the tag titles at Bound For Glory.

Booker could be finished with TNA once and for all after he drops the titles at TNA's biggest pay per view event.

But, how will Booker T be used in the WWE? It seems unlikely that he returns as the King considering William Regal's victory as the 2008 King of the Ring. He will probably return as the "Can you dig it?" and "Spin-a-roonie" using superstar that he was for the majority of his tenure with the WWE.

It wouldn't come as a surprise if the WWE were to put Booker on Raw because he didn't leave on bad terms and the brand has an obvious lack of heels. But, Smackdown is a possibility for the exact opposite reason as Raw, they lack babyfaces. The brand's only faces are Batista, Rey Mysterio, Undertaker, and John Morrison.

Booker could also see the same treatment that Christian received when he returned from TNA. Booker on ECW would elevate the brand significantly and with Christian, Shelton, and Tommy Dreamer as the brand's faces, he could become a top heel in the supposed land of extreme.

Either way, Booker T's return to the WWE could definitely be a big thing and his name will elevate any brand that he is assigned to. Hopefully, the next Book-End will be in the WWE. Can you dig it?
