Forget about Manny Pacquiao fighting junior middleweight champ Yuri Foreman and Mayweather going to Manchester to beat up Matthew Hatton.

Mayweather vs. the Pacman is almost on, almost, unless Pacquiao is not keen on taking the fight in the first quarter of 2010.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum arrived in Manila from Las Vegas with one clear message for Manny Pacquiao that is if he doesn’t agree to a Floyd Mayweather fight on March 13, the century’s biggest fight may not happen at all.

Top Rank Promotions and Golden Boy promotions almost closed the deal though the details of the agreement were not disclosed to the public at the moment.

He must always keep in mind that he is well loved specially by his country men and people around the world because of boxing.

Boxing is his bread and butter. Other than boxing, everything should just be on the side.

Helping doesn’t mean that he has to go into politics. With the tons of money that he has, he can help others in his own way. There are other ways.

Fans don’t even care about his record albums, movies and even his plan to become a representative in the lower house.

What the fans want from him is to fight until he’s ready to decide to call it a day.

He gives pride and of course entertainment to a third world country haunted by dirty politics.

Without boxing he wouldn’t be the global superstar that he is.

The pressure is on Pacquiao. It’s a “take it or leave it” kind of thing.

Pacquiao has the “burden” to decide though Freddie Roach was recently quoted that Pacquiao won’t be ready for a March 2010 bout.

The fight has to happen now! No ifs or buts, now!

He can go into politics once he’s retired, but not know. Two more fights maybe. Fight Mayweather and one more time to close out his.
