The Winter Classic Preview sure did not dissapoint.

The first time these two teams met, it went into a shootout, with the Flyers victorious.

This match was not much different.

The Flyers went into the game losing eight of there last ten, and needing a big win to get them back on track.

The Flyers got down early when Boston's Sobotka notched his third goal of the season.

All of the Flyers goals came in the third period, with Van Riemsdyk getting his seventh to tie the game, than Timonen getting the next two goals to take the lead, and seal the victory.

The Flyers improve to 15-15-1, while the Bruins fall to 16-10-6.

The Flyers take on the rival Penguins on Tuesday, while the Bruins travel to Chicago on Friday.

The Flyers can hopefully take this momentum to Pittsburgh in hopes of getting out of this slump.
