Something I Never Thought I'd Say...

Did you ever see the episode of Happy Days when the Fonz has a difficult time saying that he was sorry?  He struggled mightily with the words!  I can draw a parallel with regard to this weekend's wildcard game in Cincinnati.  As a diehard Pittsburgh Steeler fan I've almost always had to root against the Bengals.  From the days of my childhood, when I put the Ken Anderson and Archie Griffin cards in the spokes of my bicycle, I was raised to root against the teams that were in the AFC Central (now the AFC North).  Well Bengal Nation, I'm going to struggle to say this but I'm actually rooting for your Bengals to beat the New York Football Jets this Saturday afternoon.

The past two weekends I had to endure watching the Jets win two games that they absolutely had handed to them.  Both the Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals had little interest in beating the Jets.  The Jets were essentially handed the number 5 seed in the AFC.  I would like to see the Bengals tear the Jets a new posterior and send them back to New York with their tails between their legs.

I said it, I'm roo, roo, roo, rooting for the Ben, Ben, Ben, I'm rooting for the Ben, Ben, Ben, ... well you get the picture.

Good Luck!!
