Well folks the season has ended for the Cleveland Browns.

So let's start talking about who is going to be our quarterback for next year.  Derek Anderson or Brady Quinn?

My personal opinion it has to be Brady.  Look what Derek has done this year, the results speak for themselves.  And let's not give him he was the quarterback during the 4 game win streak.

With Mike Holmgren being in place to run the daily operations for the Browns, and we all know what type of background he brings to the table with the west coast offense.

To me it just makes sense to keep Brady and release Derek.  Brady is more fit for this type of offense you don't need a cannon arm to run this system.  You just have to have decent arm strength Brad has that already.

The short intermediate throws are the ones that Brady hits with precision. Derek can't hit the side of barn if he tried.

Brady has a lot of room to grow in this system if it will be implemented, that is still up in the air.

I am going to give the fans some more stats of what Brady and Derek did this year and then those should speak for themselves also.

Brady's stats:

TD     INT     PASS YD     RTG

8        7        1339         67.2

Granted these are not great stats by any stretch of the imagination but realize he has had less than two years on field experience with three different types of offensive systems.

Derek's Stats:

TD     INT     PASS YD     RTG

3       10       888           42.1

WOW! That says it all right there. I have nothing else to say. He has played in 31 games and has started 27 of them these are stats that rookies can not even get.

Let's just think about what I have said in this article.  I do encourage feedback from everyone that reads this.

Thanks for reading this.

GO BROWNS!!!
