Why? Why is there arena football. It does not make sense. Having two different leagues, and two different variations of the game football. Why? I can understand that maybe its a bunch of guys who couldn't make the NFL but, changing all the rules...

Why? Why is there arena football. It does not make sense. Having two different leagues, and two different variations of the game football. Why?

 

I can understand that maybe its a bunch of guys who couldn't make the NFL but, changing all the rules. Making it of a regular football field Borders on the edge. A smaller field goal!? C'mon! When does this happen. And why is there only 16 men on the field then 22?

Was this league invented for more excitement.  More points? Bigger hits? No NFL players play in this league to keep practicing for the next season. Also, why don't the players in the AFL try the NFL?

In the end why have and AFL? Does it make a difference which league, does it?
