Like Upsets? Atlantic Sun Tournament Is the Place To Be

Madness can not sum up how crazy things have been in Macon, Georgia these past two days with only one of the top four seeds in the Atlantic Sun Tournament making it to the semifinals.

Two of the three upsets, (8) Kennesaw State over (1) Lipscomb and (5) ETSU over (4) Campbell were not seen coming.  But the win by host (6) Mercer over (3) Belmont was waiting to happen.

The Bears, on their home court, rallied to outscore the Bruins by a 49-37 margin in the second half, took control, and now have the clear advantage to run the table in the A-Sun tournament.

Tommorrow's semifinals will be Kennesaw State against ETSU and Mercer facing (2) Jacksonville (7), the only top seed who won by beating UNF 76-69, in the nightcap at University Center on the campus of Mercer University.
