BREAKING NEWS on Shawn Michaels' Return To The WWE

In a 2009 radio interview, Shawn Michaels said that he had planned to retire at Wrestlemania 26 and as it has panned out, Shawn Michaels did indeed retire at Wrestlemania after losing to The Undertaker. In that interview, Shawn cited that his body has taken enough damage in the ring and that he felt that it was only right that he would be a 'big part' in his children's lives and that his family needs him more than the WWE. However, in the same radio interview, Shawn Michaels expressed his desire to one day return to the WWE when 'his kids are off to college.'

The same sentiments were echoed by his real-life friend and fellow WWE wrestler Triple H, who said in an interview AFTER Wrestlemania 26 that he knows that Shawn Michaels isn't truly done with the WWE and will one day return to the company. In that interview, Triple H said that it is only a matter of time before Shawn will be inducted in the Hall of Fame and that he will return to the WWE for that event before Wrestlemania but the interesting bit from that interview was that Triple H said that Shawn Michaels would return to the WWE sooner rather than later, not as an in-ring competitor but would still be on-screen. This tallies with what Shawn Michaels has always said, that he would do everything in his power to ensure that his match with The Undertaker would be his last, but like Triple H said, he believes that Shawn Michaels would return sooner rather than later on-screen, just not wrestling.

Both Vince McMahon and Jim Ross has said that if ever Shawn Michaels wanted back in the WWE, he wouldn't even have to call Vince, he could just show up and the stage would be his. Now,what does this mean for The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels? We all know that Shawn Michaels is a mentor to NXT rookie, Bryan Danielson and with rumors circulating that the WWE are planning to end the Guest GM segment, perhaps Shawn Michaels could return to the WWE as a Commissioner or GM like he did in 1999-2000 in his first retirement.

Will Shawn Michaels return? If yes, when will Shawn Michaels return? How would he return?
