What does it matter that Mr. Leighton has so little experience going into the Eastern final series at home on Sunday night? He cannot lose!

His coach, Peter Laviolette, was able to pick him off Carolina's recycled list, so the expectations really are all on the Philly number 49. He follows the Bobby (Brian) Boucher who is recovering from a knee injury.

Realistically speaking, what expectations are there here?

Micheal Leighton has begun to show that he really belongs on the NHL playoff stage and going into a series against the hated Habs of Montreal, Leighton has much top offer here. He was 16-5 with the Flyers this year and a .918 save percentage so he has a head start to this East Final.

Will the Prongers of the world along with the Gagnes and Brieres be there?

The series begins on Sunday night from Philadelphia with Ms Hart and Ms Kate Smith, and their spirited rendition of God Bless America and from there it will be up to the boys in the hated orange and black to recapture days of the 70's to lift the team to the finals.

The prediction is the Flyers in six.
