As the second returning team for 2011, the Kansas City Brigade has announced it will be back for the 2011 season.

Jerry Kurz (AFL Commish) must be absolutely floored with the accomplishments of the last few days—two returned franchises in as many days, with the first being the Philadelphia Soul (http://bit.ly/9PIueO).

Lead by the ownership of the Likens Family, the Brigade will join the Soul and the rest of the AFL next April. Kevin Porter will rejoin the Brigade as general manager.

Despite being granted its franchise in 2006, the Brigade quickly made a name for themselves in the Arena Football League for selling to capacity crowds and having to change venues to support their growing fan base.

For 2011, the Brigade will play at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. Ticket information and the press release is available at http://www.kcbrigade.com.
