Will this be the last time we see "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan in the Impact Zone? It may be if the rumors are true that he and longtime partner Eric Bischoff are leaving Total Nonstop Action in Orlando.

Although this post has been taken down from his Twitter site, it could be someone hacking his page.  As always, when it comes to rumors one must take them with a grain of salt.

ORIGINAL: Hulk Hogan posted the following on his Twitter page today.

I know you've heard the rumors brothers and they are true. Eric and I are leaving TNA on a mutual basis. I just got out of meetings now.

It was really fun but time to move on.

TNA has a new leadership coming in. Make sure you Hulkamaniacs still support them. TNA needs the power of Hulkamania to live on brothers.

Thank you Dixie and Bob Carter for the wonderful and positive experiences in TNA. Nothing but the best to you guys.

Brothers, this isn't the last of me though. You'll be able to see me at "Hulk Hogan & Friends" events on tour soon.

But what if it is true?  What does the future hold for the number two wrestling promotion in North America?

Think about what has occurred in the past few weeks. Gone are guys who were "Friends of Hogan" such as Scott Hall (although largely due to his own demons) and The Nasty Boys, even though Orlando Jordan still remains. TNA has made a greater push to highlight their own stars and it has resulted in higher caliber matches, especially with the Beer Money/Motor City Machine Guns best-of-five series.

Also, TNA just recently featured another ECW reunion PPV in HardCORE Justice and there are also rumors that Tommy Dreamer may have a bigger role in the booking along with Vince Russo. If that is true, does this mean that the door may open for Paul Heyman to finally enter TNA?

Again, these are just rumors. Anything can change in a heartbeat. However, if this is true, then the short lived Hogan-Bischoff regime must be looked upon as a failure. Ratings finally recovered to their normal 1.2 range after a failed run on Monday nights. A lot of questions remained about why the World Title was taken of a white-hot heel in AJ Styles just to have it placed on Rob Van Dam.

More to come on this story as it develops.
