Kurt Angle is a legend in the sport of wrestling, from winning a gold metal in the 1996 Olympic games to winning the WWE/TNA world titles an astounding thirteen times. Kurt as been referred to as the greatest in ring worker that the wrestling industry has ever seen.
But his wonderful career could end if he loses a match before he wins the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
Kurt has been on a roll since returning to the TNA roster in June. He hasn't lost a one on one match since his return and the current storyline has called for him to retire if he loses a one on one match before he wins the TNA world title.
Angle has had a ton of stealler matches in the last several months and even though he is on a major roll, a lot of people in the wrestling industry believe that Kurt will retire at Bound For Glory because his body has taken a ton of damage for many years and Kurt feels like retirement is coming sooner than later.
The majority of fans pretty much can bank on Angle defeating Jeff Hardy at No Surrender and going on to Bound For Glory as one half of the main event.
Rumors are that Mr.Anderson will be Kurt's opponent at the biggest event for TNA and while the match itself will be good, there is a very realistic chance that Bound For Glory will be Kurt's last call for wrestling.
Now I don't know how wrestling fans feel about a potential retirement for Kurt but I believe that it would be a crippling blow to TNA if Angle does decide to retire because Kurt is TNA's top wrestler and he has always been able to put over his opponents in any type of match.
Angle can be a success as a heel or as a baby face and more importantly, Angle brings in money any time he is wrestling. So if Angle does retire at Bound For Glory then it will be a sad day for the wrestling world.
