After Sundays loss to the Cardinals, it was hard not to be tempted to think about the word "Bag". That game was definitely a "bag over your head " kind of game. You can think it but don't do it. I agree with Sean Payton in the sense that having so many injured players out is not an excuse for turnovers and just not doing your job especially when you HAVE the talent.Patrick Robinson and Chris Ivory are rookies but they are impressive rookies. As for our kickers, they know what they are capable of and they should probably let Hartley up from his time out. But it really shouldn't come down to it being put on the kickers plate now should it.
This is a new season and last year is still last year but I'm not going to give these guys a hard time. There still the most humble fan friendly team in the league and I'll take em anyway I can get em. Judging from the turnout at the airport Sunday night I would have to say the Who Dats feel the same way. I am still going to faithfully watch , I am still going to pray during each game and I am still going to wear my #9 jersey proudly. The Saints have very high expectations of themselves and they are taking that loss harder than we are .I have come to trust Sean Payton and Drew Brees to lead our beloved Saints which is more than I can say about Les Miles. Did I just say that out loud? So hold on to your Who Dat hats Saints fans its only 3 games in and I believe the best is yet to come.
