Jeff Hardy needs Luke Gallows.

Sound weird?

Well, allow me to explain then.

First of all, in case you haven't seen it yet, there's a video of Jeff Hardy bashing CM Punk. The two have some real life heat between them because of a few incidents, including one where Punk willingly agreed to take part in a storyline segment in which he mocked Hardy's real life issues with drugs.

Also, for those of you that are not aware, WWE released Luke Gallows this past week. Prior to his release, Gallows played the enforcer for Punk's character on Smackdown. The duo was inexplicably split up by WWE, which led to Gallows' stock dropping so low that the company viewed him as being expendable.

The internet wrestling community absolutely loves it whenever a wrestling company takes a real life situation and make a storyline out of it. This just so happens to be an area in which Vince McMahon and Vince Russo shine. Since Hardy is signed to TNA and Gallows was just released by WWE, this is going to have to take place under Dixie Carter's watch.

After signing Gallows, TNA needs to change his character up just a little bit. Instead of being a straight edge guy, his character needs to subtly hint that he has gone off the path of righteousness. A semi shoot video aimed towards Punk (also done subtly) would soon follow. With Hardy as a heel now, his character would be in a perfect place to take some verbal jabs as well.

Didn't think I would ever say this, but TNA needs to sign Gallows.

Where can I comment?
