The "panic button" is a highly overused term in all of sports but I have nothing else better to call it so it will work.
Many Texas A&M fans including yours truly hit it last week after the lost. That was not a great call on my part and if you did too, think about what you have done.

I know every college football game is big, but did we overreact?
Yes, a lot of changes will be made.
We have a new kicker, and quite possibly a QB controversy. If A&M wins against New Mexico, pull up that panic button and wait. If they lose however, leave it down, and everybody else should push their Texas A&M panic button.

I've written that Texas A&M made a mistake in making Jackie Sherrill feel uncomfortable. They made a mistake in making R.C. Slocum feel uncomfortable.
Before Sherrill they chased off Gene Stallings and Emory Bellard.
A&M is the living example of "the other man's grass is always greener".
A&M needs to stick with a coach and help him become successful.

I could not agree with these comments more. With our culture in college football of 'win now' we have chased off some great coaches. Aggie fans seem to forget about the fact that it takes time to build up the personal for the systems that these new coaches bring with them. Unreasonable expectations.
