Sherdog.com has reported that Karo Parisyan will not be facing Yoshiyuki Yoshida at the upcoming UCF event. Karo has allegedly injured his back so badly he is having trouble walking.

Parisyan was going to face a fellow judo specialist, and have a really tough test this coming Saturday in Yoshida. According to Randy Couture , who is one of Parisyan's training partners, Karo injured his back sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning.

I am personally not a Karo fan, so this fight being scratched didn't really hit me that hard, but still I am left to wonder what IFL flunkies they will have fill the spot on short notice?

  1. You ad I are starting to think alike--that is scarey.

  2. Actually, no one is replacing anyone for this fight. All they're doing is moving Brown vs Kim to the main card. I really wanted to see Yoshida fight, so that's dissapointing, but this isn't too bad. Any of the other 4 main card fights getting dropped would have been worse imo. At least we'll be able to see more prelims.

    1. Well that's definitely a good thing...I wanted to see Brown vs. Kim more than that fight anyway.
