With Chuck Liddell’s looming bout against Rashad Evans this Saturday, the question remains: will he get a title shot after this fight with a win?
The answer is undoubtedly, yes! If Liddell can get passed the quick and explosive Evans, then Forrest Griffin will be the next step in the quest to regain the title.
As we all know, Liddell is coming off an impressive victory against Wanderlei Silva in December, where his power and aggressiveness were on display. For Liddell, the question is whether he can knockout an opponent who has never been KO’d before in his career.

No doubt that this fight will be an all-out war between two men who want a title shot.
Rashad Evans' last fight was against Michael Bisping in November of last year. Although a split decision, it was an impressive victory for Evans keeping him undefeated. Evans later stated that the fight was closer than he would have liked.
With the long layoffs these two men have had, one would hope that they don’t show any octagon rust. Hopefully, the first round will be exciting as this is a three round fight.
As we all know from when Liddell fought Jardine, points is the name of the game for the judges. But, do not look for this fight to go to a decision as both men have stated they want to stand and bang with each other.
Don’t blink as this fight could be over in the first round.
