From spectorshockey.net:
Jim Matheson reports Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers intends to battle for a spot in the Oilers goaltending rotation, battling with Mathieu Garon and Dwayne Roloson. "Drouin-Deslauriers can't be sent back to the minors, unless he clears waivers, and the Oilers, after investing four pro years and signing him to a new two-year contract this summer, may keep three goalies to start the season no matter how he plays in the exhibitions" writes Matheson.

I don't think the Oil will carry three goalies, which means Roloson will probably be the odd man out. Begin rumour mill. I've heard Roloson to LA a lot, but that's the biggest load of garbage I've ever heard, and here's why:
1. The Kings have good, young goaltenders in the NHL and in the minors. Labarbera and Ersberg make a combined $1.5 million. Why would they want to add another $3 million to that?
2. I see this as just another Khabibulin rumour. The Kings don't need an old, overpriced goalie just to get above the cap floor.
3. The Kings have a bad history with old goalies, namely and recently Dan Cloutier and Roman Chechmanek.
4. Roloson is 38 and on the downside of his career. The Oilers will have a tough time getting rid of him, for any value anyways.

I agree. The Kings will find a way to hit the cap floor and it will not include goalies. Ersberg is looking to gain more experience after finishing last season as the Kings' starter. Labarbera is good but I think he'll be kept around only until Jonathan Bernier comes up full-time.
Edmonton can also send Roli to the minors and wait for him to clear waivers. I'm not sure that many teams will want to give anything up to add a goalie who is past his prime and has a $3 million contract.

I agree with Chris. Labarbra is not young by any means he is 28 and has yet to put together anything solid in the NHL. Ersberg and Bernier are the 2 goalies if they do not sign a big money goalie in the meantime. Roloson is mediocre at best. He had a couple decent seasons for the Wild behind a solid defense. Once he hit Edmonton it seemed like a different story. He has good streaks followed by lengthy bad ones.
