Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots: Weird Karma

There is some sort of weird karma going on between Arlington, Texas and Foxborough, Mass.

In my first article, I expressed my view that Jason Garrett has much in common with Bill Belichick.  Now, with former Patriots DC Eric Manigini having been released from his HC job in Cleveland and Jason Garrett looking for the very best DC for the Cowboys, don't be surprised if "Mangenious" comes to Dallas and repeats his 3-4 defensive glory days.

The Cowboys don't have a Mike Vrabel/Tedy Bruschi-type defense -yet.  You see, the Cowboys have many talented players on defense, but they're getting old.  And the young guys are either too new or too sloppy.

For example, Alan Ball had his problems, but was still quite impressive.  He can be more impressive.  Under Garrett and Mangini, Guys like Ball and Sensabaugh (71 tackles and 5 INTs) would be unstoppable.  My prediction is that with all the leeway Jones is giving Garret (and the fact that Jones likes making big splashes), look for Mangini to come to Dallas.

What say you?  Let me hear from the fans.
