Steelers vs. Packers Super Bowl XLV odds have been set at top Las Vegas and offshore sportsbooks. Green Bay is (-2.5) with a total of 46. Eddie Kaye of The Canadian Crew said he expects it to be a rare case where the public will back the underdog.

“The nucleus of the Steelers have already won two championships,” said Kay.

The Packers got to Super Bowl XLV with a 21-14 win over the Chicago Bears despite giving up 153 yards passing in the fourth quarter to third string signal caller Caleb Hanie.

Hanie took over for the injured starter Jay Cutler and ineffective backup Todd Collins. Super Bowl proposition odds will likely be up initially Monday with more generic prop bets, with player specific prop odds filtering in each day.

Apparently, steel has a meltdown at 10-degrees but not a complete one. Taking a 24-0 lead, the Pittsburgh Steelers held on to edge the New York Jets 24-19.

Issued will be odds on number of completions by Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, yards rushing by James Starks, Rashard Mendenhall, receptions and yards by Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, Heath Miller, Hines Ward among many others.
