News reports today stated that Thierry Henry may be on his way out of Barcelona.

After recovering from an injury, Henry has been asking for more consistent playing time and, thus far, not receiving it. According to reports, this could lead to Henry leaving the club.

But where would he go?

These same reports are saying that the MLS could be his next destination. We have been hearing for a while that eventually Henry would make his way across the pond to MLS, but isn't this a little too soon?

No offense to MLS, but they are no La Liga or Premiership. They are a second tier league and should not get players of Henry's quality unless they believe they are making their way onto the other side of the hill.

Henry has not looked great over the past two seasons, but he is still one of the best finishers in the world.

Does this mean that MLS has significantly improved over the years to attract talent like Henry at this point in their careers?

Or has Henry's career sunk to an all-time low?

  1. I think Henry is too ambitious to move to any MLS club. I guess a return to England would be best for him, he played his best football over there.

  2. nah, he wont go to MLS yet. too much high class for them.

  3. I wouldn't be surprised to see Henry playing in the MLS in the next season or two. He's been horrific at Barcelona, and he's made it pretty clear that he wouldn't play for any other team in England other than Arsenal. I think he would make a good addition to the MLS, depending on the team he goes to.

I think eventually he will play in America. But like Beckham, it could happen sooner than many think.

  4. he still has some gass in thee tank, i can even imagine him the squad for the next world cup

  5. I think it's very possible he could end up in MLS in the next year or two. Apparently he tops the list in Toronto's DP search, and Seattle and New York are also mentioned as potential destinations. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

  6. To answer your question, no he's career has not sunk to an all-time low.
