WWE WrestleMania 27: My Real-Life Wrestling Predictions

Anakin CaneCorrespondent IApril 3, 2011

Well, WrestleMania is less than 26 hours away. Let me put together some last-minute predictions for the show.

These predictions are based on wrestling not being predetermined.

Edge vs. Albert del Rio

Though Albert del Rio is a veteran in Mexico and has adapted well to the American style, Edge, being the ultimate opportunist seems to be the pick in this one.

Look for the green-eyed monster to turn its ugly head. Christian will cost his former partner the World title, thus setting up a three-way dance for the next pay-per-view among Edge, ADR and Christian.

The Miz vs. John Cena

Cena and The Miz have been under the skin of the Rock for the past month. Now is the time to bring it. Cena is becoming the WrestleMania superman. He always rises to the top at the year's biggest event.

Do not expect any thing different this edition, as Superman walks out of the ring with the belt in hand. The only real question is how will the Rock respond to an Attitude Adjustment from this past Monday.

HHH vs. Undertaker

The Undertaker always rises at WrestleMania. This year will be no different as after 20 minutes, a tombstone will bury the Game.

Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole

Be prepared for the upset and months of gloating from Michael Cole and his Coleminers. Expect Stone Cold to be pre-occupied by Riley or Swagger allowing the other to cheap shot the King and get the win for Cole.

Randy Orton vs. C.M. Punk

Randal Keith Orton should be able to win this match. The matchup has the potential to be the best on the card. The RKO will be too much for Punk to fight off, especially with the Nexus out of action.

Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes

This match features two wrestlers at the crossroads. Does Rey have enough in the tank, or will Rhodes youthfulness prove to be too much to handle? If Cody can get the pin, he will be in contention for a secondary title.

This match is very difficult to predict. Too many variables. In the end, a mistimed 619 will allow Rhodes to be able to get the win.

Trish Stratus, Snooki, and John Morrison vs. Lay-Cool and Dolph Ziggler

The matchup of this caliber has bathroom break written all over it. Snooki has no wrestling experience and Trish has been doing a reality show away from the ring.

Ziggy and LayCool will prove too much for Morrison, Trish, and Snooki.

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan

Sheamus has broken his slump and will continue as he easily defeats Bryan.

Kane, Big Show, Santino, and Koslov vs. The Corre

The shenanigans of Santino will cost his team the match. The Corre is on a roll as of late and will use that momentum as a way to win.

If this were an elimination tag team match, then the odds would be in favor of the veterans, but since it is a one-fall matchup, look for the Corre to get the win.
