Once all was said and done, The Rock was the last man standing at the Georgia Dome.
For the first time in three years, John Cena didn’t leave WrestleMania with a World Championship belt on his hands.
After a good match, with a few two-counts and overall a nice performance (not spectacular) from both wrestlers, The Miz had retained the WWE Championship after both he and Cena had been counted-out by the referee.
WrestleMania couldn’t end in a draw, of course, so The Rock returned to the ring to get the match restarted.
Once the actions resumed, John Cena was getting the upper-hand on The Miz, but The Rock took advantage of that to attack Cena and hit a Rock-Bottom on him.
The Miz got the pin to put his record at WrestleMania 2-0 (watch out, Undertaker!) and remain the WWE Champion.
After the match, The Rock returned to the ring to face The Miz, giving him another People’s Elbow to end the show,
Does this mean The Rock will stay in the WWE for a longer time? Will we see a full Cena-Rock feud? Who will be The Miz’s next challenger?
