Whether through broadcast or the web, I haven’t seen one person call the Missouri game for the Huskers. Lou Holtz did say Missouri-Nebraska has the potential for upset because of the poor performance of the Missouri defense and that Nebraska had the capacity for putting up points.
But, then again, it is Lou Holtz.
One trend I’ve seen in the predictions is the ‘blowout.’ Missouri hanging ‘half-a-hundred’ on the Huskers, as if the Huskers will just lay down and allow Missouri to run their offense.

Now, Bo Pelini is a proud man who hates losing. His players are angry and upset at the loss against VT. A game they feel they should of won.
While HG predicted a Mizzou win, when you factor in the “Huskers don’t have a chance” predictions along with Chase Daniel cockiness, you have to think this is a huge motivator for the Huskers and gives them the freedom to play more aggressive.
While Missouri’s offense is amazing, it’s amazing that no one remembers that Missouri had trouble with Buffalo. While Missouri had no trouble scoring, they also had plenty of trouble stopping Buffalo.
Look for a competitive game. We are going to need a big special teams play, some Helu and Lucky, and a little magic from the crowd.
