Chad Ocho Cinco (sic) had a stellar game against the New York Jets on Sunday.
At least he did when his numbers are compared to his stats from the previous five games.
His field-burning 57-yard performance was 14 yards more than the week before against Dallas.
Against Cleveland, he had 28 yards; New York Giants, 29; Tennessee, 37; and Baltimore 22.
Now, I know Ocho Cinco (sic), the complainer, would say that Carson Palmer has been out two games and that he plays on one of the league’s worst offenses.
- B/R Ticket Guide
Only Cleveland trailed Cincinnati (ranked 31st in game stats) on Monday night.
However, Cleveland’s stats were for four games; Cincinnati's were for six.
Thus, the Bengals truly are the worst offense in the league.
I suppose we can truly understand Ocho Cinco’s (sic) heartfelt excuses for his pathetic failure this season, especially after he said on TV that he was going to start speaking out to not only motivate himself, but to also motivate his teammates.
He might want to Google the AFC North. The Bengals are 0-5.
However, he may have motivated teammate T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who is ranked fourth in receptions among all receivers.
When compared to wide receivers, Houshmandzadeh is ranked second in receptions and 13th in yards.
Ocho Cinco (sic) is ranked 52nd among all players for receptions and 40th among wide receivers.
I’m sure Jerry Jones in Dallas is salivating at the thought of signing the guy with the jersey problem.

I've always thought that T.J. was a more productive player the Chad. I know that Chad gets picked on and often gets double covered, but that happens to many great WR, but they find ways to get the ball.
