The Boston Red Sox designated Mike Cameron for assignment yesterday, ending his tenure in Boston. In 33 games this season, Cameron has hit .149 with three home runs, nine RBI and an OBP just .266. In his entire term with Boston, Cameron has hit seven home runs, 24 RBI, an average of .219 and an OBP of .285.
