NBA Draft 2011: Minnesota Timberwolves, Houston Rockets Swap Players and Picks

According to Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports, the Minnesota Timberwolves have traded point guard Jonny Flynn to the Houston Rockets for Brad Miller. Donatas Motiejunas was also involved in the trade; Motiejunas was drafted by the Wolves and will be sent to Houston as well. The Wolves will also acquire the 23rd pick along with Miller.

The Wolves were obviously very desperate to get rid of Flynn. Ricky Rubio recently signed with the team, and will need to be a starter to develop in the NBA. This pick is definitely a steal for the Houston Rockets.
