First, please allow me to present my starters and bench players.

Starters: Y. Ming (C), L. Scola (PF), S. Battier (SF), T. Mcgrady (SG), R. Alston(PG).

Sixth Man:R. Artest (SF,PF)

Back-ups: C. Landry(C,PF), J. Dorsey(C,PF), A. Brooks (PG),B. Barry(SG), C. Hayes(PF),L. Head(SG),V. Wafer(SG), S. Francis(PG,SG)

You must doubt if i've made some mistakes for putting R.Artest out of the position of starters. That's right, in my view, Artest should be a bench player in Houston Rockets Team. It's definitely right that R.Artest could be competent for a starter in any team of NBA, while, not in the Rockets.  Two major reasons could be presented here:

1. Shane Battier is a better team-player,especially one of the best team-defender. Plus, This starter line-up is mature enough and has proved its ability to beat any other team including Spurs, Lakers, Jazz, Celtics, Pistons, and Hornets in the league.

2. One big problem that blocks the way of Rockets to the champion is Injury,  the injury of Yao Ming. And the direct factor making Yao Ming injure is his too long playing time. Rockets need keep Yao Ming stay in the court because the team can't continue the aggressivity when they get into rotation. Now, a perfect solution is figured out with R.Artest who is the most fittest guy keeping the stressing force on opponents without Yao Ming's dominance.  R.Artest has enough power, attacking technique and defense ability to lead the back-ups overwhelming the opponents. If everything goes smoothly (no injury and Artest is gonna keep the performance he made in October.), Rockets would be the most probable team to win the champion.

Next, Let's see which players will sparkle in the upcoming season. My choices would be C. Landry, A. Brooks, and Brent. Barry.

Carl is a good guy to perform his talent on jumping, rebound and attack ability and he could be a competitive player to grab the position of L.Scola. If keep healthy, his time would be enough to display a perfect data sheet.

A. Brooks is becoming better and better, and on his position, no other players like him in the Rockets team has enough capability to share time with Alston. S.Francis is supposed to be one if his recovering process goes smoothly and he could fit his teamates well. Anyway, this is not the first time he made Rockets fans disappointed. A. Brooks has so much time to make himself become better and better throughout whole season that's why he will sparkle in the 2008-2009 NBA games.

B. Barry is pretty experienced, and his shooting ability and range absolutely fits Rockets strategy--princeton system. He is stable and often highlights in playoffs which could make up the rockets well.

Following players could obtain some certain time:

Luther Head has ability to attack in season games. But his defense ability is a problem plus he needs to prove himself in playoffs.  Chuck Hayes is a good defense player but not tall enough to fit the position of center(backup Yao). In addition, his offense ability is too poor. Von Wafer  could get some opportunities to display his attacking talent if he could grasp his limited time.
