The basketball recruiting efforts of the Florida Gators got a solid win this week as they landed combo guard Kenny Boynton, a 6'2" tough-as-nails playmaker from Plantation, Florida.
Boynton had come down to a handful of schools, including Duke and Georgia Tech, before deciding to stay in home and play for Billy Donavon and the Gators.

Boynton can play the shooting guard, but will probably see a lot of time running the point, being a speedster who can push the ball in the frenetic full court style that Coach Donavon likes to employ.
Boynton isn't just a shooting guard who's made the transition to point in order to offset his size.
He is a legit ballhandler, and one of the best in the class of 2009. He should see a lot of minutes during his stint as a Gator.
