The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim might find themselves in the same situation as the 2008 Mariners, only worse.
Than Angels aging outfield is on a decline and is on pace to provide little this year. Their Outfield is all oldies except Torri Hunter who has suddenly lost track
of who he was since joining LA. Vlad is aging and becoming worse every year. If Mark Texiera is traded the angels will try and pick up any 1st baseman available, which there are not many good ones out there except Blalock of the Rangers who probably will try and get away from the Al West. If Garland leaves and K-rod the Angels can in no way make it to the playoffs in 2009. Which leaves the Al west to a losing team filled with talent and possible incoming trades. The Mariners got the west yes, the Mariners. See my other article for more info.
