After flirting with a return to the Patriots, veteran CB Ty Law agreed to a contract with the New York Jets. Law, who played 10 seasons in New England, was once considered the best cornerback in the league. During his short stints in New York and Kansas City, Law seemed to lose more than a step, but he has maintained his smart play and continues to grab interceptions.

Jets coach Eric "back-stabbing" Mangini claims there is "definitely a chance" that Law could play against the Patriots this Thursday.
On a side note, the Jets dropped CB Justin Miller to make room for Law. Miller was considered a top return man in 2006 but hasn't been used much recently. Don't be surprised if the Pats try to sign him.

I'm just upset that the Lions didn't sign Law. First of all, our secondary blows! Secondly, Law starred at Michigan which would be a homecoming of sorts, and Third, why not!
