Today Bo Pelini suspended LB Cody Glenn indefinitely for a violation of team rules. Specifics regarding the situation are not known and Bo didn't even address the media about it during his weekly Tuesday morning press conference.
This is quite a bit of a shock, as Cody has appeared to be nothing less than a great kid and teammate during the last four years. Glenn has never been involved in any legal issues and that doesn't appear to be the case this time. The Lincoln Police Department has stated that they have no record of any arrests or tickets involving Glenn.

How this may affect Nebraska's preparation for the game this weekend with Kansas State remains to be seen. With the linebacker corps already thin to start the season, and then suffering a few injuries, this could deal a severe blow to the Cornhuskers' defense.
It's important to keep in mind, though, that Nebraska played Texas Tech with two starting linebackers, Cody Glenn and Phillip Dillard, on the sidelines due to injury, and their respective backups were solid in their performances.
Keep your head up, Cody. Do what the coaches ask of you and get back on the field where you belong.

When we heard about this, the sports desk just went insane. We are frantically trying to find out what caused this. I was shocked.

When you find out what happened let me know. I know I am curious as well as my Husker fan friends. It's a shock to me, because all appearances were that Cody has been a straight laced, do the right thing type of kid.
I hope it's not so serious that it causes him to miss the experience of the rest of his senior year.

Let's hope this is something that gets taken care of quickly. I hope, for his sake as well as ours (fans), that it turns out to be a minor thing and that he will be back in the lineup again soon.
Thanks for the info, Andy.
