The highest I've had an ACC team in a while, but I think the Tar Heels are putting it together. Butch Davis should be Tennessee's #1 target.

Emmett Corboy #15
Butch Davis' team looks to be the favorite out the ACC this year for right now.

Yes. Another week has passed and the Tar Heels are still playing great football. Whether they win the ACC or not, they're going to a decent bowl game. That should add some fuel to the fire that is burning in the bellies of the Tar Heel basketball team. Welcome to Tar Hellia.

Another win against a decent team that happens to be unranked.

Adam Lindemer #17

Matt Poloni #17
Convincing win over Georgia Tech and only one loss in regulation.

Sooner03 #17
That drubbing of GT was impressive...honestly thought GT would win.

Scott Pusich #18
(previous: 20) 7-2; beat No. 22 Georgia Tech 28-7 The Tar Heels look more like the class of the ACC with each passing week. The win over Georgia Tech in what looked like Tennessee Titans (or Toronto Argonauts) uniforms was comfortable. The remaining schedule is favorable: this week @ Maryland, Nov. 22 vs. N.C. State, and Nov. 29 @ rival Duke. Just don't wear that dark blue too much, OK guys? It looks too close to that blue down the road in Durham...

Must be considered ACC favorites right now.

Butch Davis has not forgotten how to coach

Not really sure how good they are. Saturday's win was nice, but we all know the ACC and the Big LEast are very mediocre.

The Tar Heels have a tough test on the road this week, against Maryland. (Maryland is undefeated at home this season!)
