Dave Wannstedt has a chance to win the Big East thanks in large part to West Virginia falling in OT to the 'Cats. Now all Pitt has to do is finish the season with big key wins, and they may see themselves at pretty good bowl.

(previous: NR) 7-2; beat Louisville 41-7 Um, well, Pitt is in the driver's seat in the Big East. ;-) They just have to beat No. 20 Cincinnati on the road this week, beat West Virginia in the "Backyard Brawl" in Pittsburgh on Nov. 28, and for good measure win the game Dec. 6 @ Connecticut. There, that's not so hard, is it?

The Panthers will have an exciting game this weekend when they travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats for Big East supremacy.

This team SHOULD be undefeated right now, if not for two bad losses AT HOME, to Bowling Green and Rutgers.

I am not really sure there are any good teams in the Big East, but they are one of the better average ones.
