Here is the round-up of all Wednesday's action in the Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League:

Celtic 3-0 Kilmarnock

Celtic moved four points clear at the top of the SPL with their ninth consecutive league win.

Teenage sensation Cillian Sheridan opened the scoring on 18 minutes, before making it a double on 75 minutes.

The game was made safe by Shunsuke Nakamura, who rounded off the scoring with his goal six minutes from time, to give Celtic a much deserved 3-0 win.

Motherwell 0-0 Rangers

A stalemate at Fir Park which means Rangers slip further off the pace and give Celtic a four point lead at the top of the SPL.

Kris Boyd had a goal disallowed, as Rangers rued missed chances and ended the game with a disappointing draw.

Dundee United 2-0 Hibernian

United stretched their unbeaten run to eight games with a good win at home to Hibernian.

Second half goals from Darren Dods (54 minutes) and in-form Spanish striker Francisco Sandaza (60 minutes) gave Craig Levein's men the deserved three points.

Hearts 1-0 Hamilton

Christian Nade's early goal after just six minutes proved to be enough for Hearts as they overcame rock bottom Hamilton.

The win moves Hearts into fourth place, while Hamilton are still looking for their first SPL win since September.

Inverness 1-1 Falkirk

Falkirk missed the chance to climb above Inverness in the table after being held to a 1-1 draw in the Highlands.

Michael Higdon gave Falkirk an early lead on 19 minutes, but Adam Rooney ensured a point for the home side with an equaliser ten minutes from time.
