The LSU Tigers have done it! They finally won their first SEC game of this season with a 81-80 victory over Aubrun in a tightly contested game.
Only five points seperated the two teams for almost the entire game, but LSU ended the game on a three-pointer.
With 27 seconds left, Auburn led by two, 80-78, only to have LSU's Anthony Randolph drain a three-pointer with three seconds remaining in the game and ultimately win it.
The game was not over yet. With three seconds to go, the Auburn Tigers were inbounding the ball only to have the player step on the inbound line, which resulted in a turnover, giving LSU the ball.
That costly mistake by Auburn pretty much sealed the deal for LSU.

The LSU Men's basketball team have not been too lucky this season by any means with a feeble 0-5 record in the SEC this season prior to this game, and were not the fan favorites in Baton Rouge.
Tiger fans had their sites on the LSU Women's basketball team, who is led by big Slyvia Fowles.
The Tigers' next game is Saturday against the Alabama Crimson Tide. All-star Alonzo Gee has led Alabama on their recent hot streak, but LSU is looking to shut down the Tides on their home court in Tuscaloosa.
LSU has been through a lot this season with Tasmin Mitchell out for the rest of the season due to an ankle injury substained in the preseason that resulted in the Tiger's being winless in their first five games of conference play.
Tiger fans are celebrating tonight because they have been waiting for this win for a long time. Well, it has finally come, enjoy it!

I wouldnt be too worried about Gee, but extremely worried about Richard Hendrix. Gee only shows up for the big games so far this season (UT, UF) but has fallen flat against the mid to lower teams in the SEC save for Auburn.
Roll Tide, hope you make the trip to T town.
