The Metro in the United Kingdom:

One source claims the singer, 50, has been gushing non stop about A-Rod, 33, telling: 'Madonna is smitten with Alex. She told a close friend that he has the heart of a poet trapped inside an insanely gorgeous body.'

The heart of a poet? Boy, the more A-Rod evolves, the more I'm glad that Boston didn't get him after all.

    The heart of a poet and the body of an MVP is not a bad combo.

    However, believing the UK rag papers for news is never a smart idea and that seems to be where all the gossip news is coming from.

    Heart of a poet? It's been written that wherever your heart is, there will be your treasure. That being said, A-Rod's athletic supporter is also protecting that "poetic heart", too!

    Yep, Madonna. Now there's someone's emotional opinion I would trust. Like a rookie...played for the very first time!
