Scott Speed will be wrapping up his stellar, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career, Friday at Homestead, racing in the Ford 200.

In only 15 starts, Speed has compiled one-pole, one-win, four-top fives and eight-top ten finishes. He ran two races in the No. 46 for Randy Moss Motorsports back when the team was known as Morgan-Dollar Motorsports and fourteen races for Bill Davis Racing.

He's been exciting to watch race in the trucks, going to miss him but excited for him since he went to Sprint Cup a year ahead of schedule.

Here's Scott Speed's truck season by the numbers:

1 - Painted toe nail press conferences.

  • B/R Ticket Guide

5 - Highest finishing rookie.

8.8 - Average finish on short tracks.

10 - March finish at Martinsville, only his second start.

14 - Friday's finish at Phoenix, his eighth Top 15 in the past ten races.

18.6 - Average finish on 1.5 mile tracks.

37- Unique poses in Dover's victory lane with "Miles the Monster".

68- Laps led.

98.3 percent - Percentage of laps completed.

In Sprint Cup, Scott Speed will also be driving the No. 83 Red Bull car at Homestead and not the No. 84. After Phoenix, Speed fell to No. 36 in Car Owner Points, some 17 points out of 35th.

So the team swapped the drivers around, after GM won't let Mark Martin drive the No. 84 car at Homestead. So Speed will be guaranteed a starting spot and Brian Vickers will have to qualify the 84 car on speed and make up 17 points getting the car back in the Top 35 Owners standings.

Over Championship weekend, Scott Speed will have his former F1 teammate Vitantonio "Tonio" Liuzzi at Scarderia Toro Rosso, hanging out in his pit, experiencing NASCAR at Homestead.

They'll also be hanging out with their favor DJ, DJ Irie over the weekend and Speed will be pursuing his musical dreams.
