MLB, Boston Red Sox, Preview/Prediction

As you know, we have no good shortstops. Jed Lowrie is OK and Cora is gone, and let's all face it Julio Lugo had a bad year. The point is that Jose Reyes is fast and good at getting doubles.  Personally he is my favorite shortstop out there.

The odds of the Red Sox getting him are good because last year his attitude sucked and the Mets need pitching which we have. We could trade Coco Crisp who would be good for a National league team, too, and they can move Beltran to ether left or right field and have Coco at center.

  1. Spoken like someone who truly has no clue about New York sports. Reyes will be at short for the Mets for as long as Jeter has been at short for the Yankees. He's a fixture. And you don't move the best-fielding center fielder in baseball OUT of center field to accomodate Coco Crisp. There are plenty of free agent pitchers out there for the Mets to sign without trading their leadoff man (who would be much harder to replace than a starting pitcher).

  2. Who do u thing u r

  3. who do u think u r?

  4. Coco? be serious. If you want Reyes you have to give us Pedroia.

  5. sorry what I said I just dont believe that you would be on a site like this

  6. pedroia no way

  7. peter plus they have castillo and the other Reyes maybe Lowell though

  8. Jose U are my favorite player even though everything is true u will be my favorite shortstop and sorry again about what i said

  10. Whoever said No about was Pedroia was right. There is NO WAY the Mets would ever trade Reyes even up for Pedroia.

  11. steven qI was going to trade coco and pitchers

  12. not pedroia

  13. Well, Bob:

Which frontline, All-star pitcher(s) were you going to trade?

Because without such pitchers, a dozen Coco Crisps wouldn't get this deal done for the Sox.

  14. My stock answer for any team, Alex Rodriguez.

  15. Would be a great solution, I don't know who we can give Mets to make this happen though.
