Some of the MLS events that are scheduled this week as we count down to the MLS Cup on Sunday.

League Announcements

• Goal of the Year will be announced tomorrow (Wednesday) around 5 p.m. ET
• The MVP will be unveiled Thursday live on ESPN News around 4:45 p.m. ET
• The Commissioner’s press conference will be Friday and he is expected to reveal some competition-related news.

MLS Supporters’ Summit
Details for the annual Supporters’ Summit finally have been announced:

When: 8.30am –1 1.30am, Saturday 22nd of November,
Where: Stadium Club, Home Depot Center
Special Guest – Don Garber
Breakfast will be served

VW Road to MLS Cup
The next VW Road to the Cup episode will be posted Friday on mlsnet.com. All of the episodes can be found at vwroadtomlscup.com and can easily be embedded or shared using the icons at the bottom right corner of the video player.

VW will also be activating in Los Angeles throughout the weekend with plenty of fan-friendly free events. In addition, the first 100 Volkswagen owners that arrive on Sunday to The Home Depot Center will receive a “VWIP” complimentary parking for the MLS Cup, courtesy of Volkswagen.

Wednesday, November 19: “Play with the Pros” at Dolphin Park – 21205 Water St in Carson, CA
· Event Time: 6pm-10pm
· Volkswagen hosts soccer tournament for adults and children
· MLS Stars Chris Klein from the LA Galaxy and Francisco Mendoza from Chivas USA will participate in on-field games
· MLS Cup championship trophy on display for photo opportunities

Thursday, November 20: “Road to MLS Cup Block Party” at The Block at Orange – 20 City Blvd. West in Orange, CA
· Event Time: 2pm-8pm
· MLS Cup championship trophy on display for photo opportunities
· Volkswagen Interactive Games and Prizes

Friday, November 21: “Road to MLS Cup Block Party” at 3rd Street Promenade – 1200 block in Santa Monica, CA
· Event Time: Noon-9pm
· MLS Cup championship trophy on display for photo opportunities

Saturday, November 22: “adidas MLS 7v7 Soccer Challenge” at The Home Depot Center – 18400 Avalon Blvd. in Carson, CA
· Event Time: 8am-5pm
· MLS Players onsite for autographs and photo opportunities with fans
· 7 v 7 Youth U-14 soccer tournament

Sunday, November 23: “MLS Cup Soccer Celebration” at The Home Depot Center – 18400 Avalon Blvd. in Carson, CA
· Event Time: 10am – 12:45pm
