Thank GOD It's Friday

Had so many interesting entries that I just compiled them now. This was lovely, myself and each one of you am sure got an opportunity to get to know each other very well. To me, each case was unique and I included a short response at the end of each person’s thoughts.

Next to take us to the end of the year, we’ll do a yearly poll and awards, and that’ll take us to the year-end holidays for which we’ll do somethin’ fun as well. A word or two about Christmas and New Years’ plans would be lovely. I hope you all enjoy this one, as much as I did. It’s got two parts because of its longevity.

Rob York (Pete Sampras): Among active players, I don't know that I have anyone I can really relate to, or connect to as you say.

The only one I still connect with is Sampras, because, talented as he was, he was a worker determined to make the most of what he had.

I know you said this was a separate topic from "favorite tennis player," but it was for this reason that he was my favorite. I also connected with him because he was determined to get attention with his results, rather than his words or personality.

He was overlooked because of this, and many of us who are more reserved can understand that feeling. There aren't any players on tour I really dislike (since Rios quit) but I can't feel as strongly about any of them.

I suppose that's good for me as a writer, because I'm more objective. Here in Korea, Christmas is celebrated, but isn't a huge deal. I'm still going to take a week off just to relax with the wife. We're expecting our first child, so we need some time off to spend together.

I hope to write a book about the experiences we'll have over the next few months. Other than that, it's just working, planning for the future and trying to learn Korean (arrgh). Happy holidays to all.

LJS: Good Luck and warmest congratulations for the baby, Rob. You are very valuable to us in here. Really appreciate your work. I am a fan. Have fun kicking back and relaxing with the family.

      this isnt about whom you like best right ? this is about whom you can connect to most .... if we had stallone or schawarz. in the BR domain - they wud have ....

      am surprised you asked me - that ques, i know that you understood this isnt whom you like best, but connect to best
