There is a rumor out there that Ilya Kovalchuk has asked to be traded from Atlanta. He has expressed interest in playing for the Habs, because he wants to play for a Cup contender.

    1. Yes he would be a great addition to the Habs. Right now Atlanta can really refuse any serious offers for Kovalchuk because he is a free agent at seasons end anyway. They better grab whatever they can for him because Kovalchuk will not resign with Atlanta.
