Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has conceded his side must beat Chelsea to keep their Premier League title hopes alive.

The Gunners have fallen 10 points behind league-leading Chelsea after losing five of their opening 14 matches.

Wenger's side lock horns with the Blues at Stamford Bridge on Sunday and the Frenchman is aware they must overcome their rivals to reignite their quest for silverware.

When asked in a Friday press conference about the match on Sunday, Wenger said ""We want to get back in to the title race, and the way to get back in to it is to win the game on Sunday". When asked if he thought that was the only way to get back in to it, he replied "we know that direct confrontations with top teams becomes vital when you are in our position."

"I believe seeing the other teams play, we know we can beat them and that is the only way to get back into it."

Wenger also noted: "We are written off (by some). You cannot say when you are 10 points behind that we are favourites to win the championship, but you can say as well the only way we can get back into it is to believe we can."

      13-1 odds for Gallas to score at all, according to Paddypower.

      But they give Eboue the same odds at achieving that, so what the hell do they know?!

    You are wrong, and so is Sky Sports News. What he said was:

      Arsenal are only 11-1 to win with paddypower when I checked on tuesday night - that is crazy I should of thrown a bet on really (except I never bet on my own teams, I'm odd like that).

      Wonder what it is for Arsenal to win 1-0 with Gallas as scorer??

    that's plagiarism. you can't just copy and paste an article and then claim that it's yours. you basically want us to give you credit for someone else's work. that's not right, i am disgusted by this article.
