I was 2-0 on Wednesday thanks to Blake Griffin and Oklahoma and Oregon State's continued struggles. The Sooners used a late run to beat UAB by 10, and Oregon State fell apart late in the second half, eventually losing to Montana State in overtime.
After taking yesterday off—I liked a couple games but ultimately decided to stay away—I'm back for a Friday night special: Arizona State -1 vs. Baylor. The Sun Devils were one of the teams I liked yesterday, and they did in fact cover, beating Charlotte by 28. Given their impressive victory, I thought they'd be more like a five-point favorite tonight against Baylor, which beat a weak Providence team.

Even with the small spread, I'm not overly confident about Arizona State. Baylor is an up-and-coming program in the Big 12, and the Bears' backcourt is impressive. In the end though, I think James Harden will have another big game and the Sun Devils will get the win to advance to the finals of the 76 Classic in Anaheim.
Today's pick: Arizona State -1; 1 unit
Season Record: 9-3 (75%); + 9.7 units

The Baylor backcourt was as impressive as I thought it would be. ASU's slow start to the second half did them in. The late comeback was too little, too late. I'll be back on the horse tomorrow if I see some favorable lines.
